This template allows you to product programmatic blog posts following the “Best tools for [Use Case]” keyword pattern.

This template allows you to produce programmatic blog posts following the “Best tools for [Use Case]” keyword pattern.

Use instructions:

  1. Make a copy of the file to your Google Drive.
  2. Fill in all the use cases you want to produce posts for in the first column of the “use case” database, and the respective tools in the “tool database” tabs:

  4. Add content about each tool in the respective rows – following the instructions in the columns.
  5. The content you add needs to be in HTML! You can use your CMS’s (WordPress) visual editor to write the content, and then just copy the content in HTML from the “Code editor”.
  6. After adding all the content on your different tool to the database, go to the template itself (the “Best tools for [Use Case]” tab)
  7. Fill in the use case you will be producing posts about in column  (! The use cases have to match the ones you filled in in the use case database!)

  8. Your template should have prepopulated with data now. Now, download the template file as CSV: download the template as CSV
  9. Upload the CSV file to your WordPress using the Import WP orWP Import Export plugin.
  10. Map the metacolumns (slug, author, metadescription etc.) to the respective metacolumns in the plugin, and the “Content Output Column” (column “CX”) into the “body” of the post:
  11. Select in the plugin settings whether you want to publish the post live or leave them in drafts. Proceed with the upload according to the plugin wizard instructions.
